THE MOUSE THAT ROARED !
If you're like most of us, it seems half our waking moments are spent at the computer clicking the computer mouse to the point that our first finger goes numb.
I spend the other half with my Classical Guitar and I noticed how much improved my Right Hand First Finger has become since the computer has become such a large part of daily existence.
It has more endurance, strength and control.
I also noticed how similar the mouse click is to the finger stroke on a string. It's short in length and quick in terms of its action and release.
Knowing that the ring finger ( annular ) on the Right Hand is the weakest one, I started doing all my left clicks with that finger.
Why not practice muscle strength when I'm on the computer ?
After a while, my ring finger showed noticeable increased control and accuracy so I went out and bought a left handed mouse to make it a little easier. My left and right clicks are now reversed but hey, Leonardo DaVinci wrote backwards so this can't be that difficult to learn.
Then I started using my right handed mouse with my left hand to strengthen the 3rd and 4th fingers on the left hand, knowing that they are the weak links.
Now I right and left click with my Left Hand 3rd and 4th fingers.
I knew that I would benefit from the computer age somehow !
